Where do we board the Paddle Pub?
All tours begin and end at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina located at 1590 Quivira Rd, San Diego, CA 92109. Walk down to the water on the Sportsman’s Seafood side of the Hyatt (east side). Path to the Dock is by Sportsmans Seafood parking lot. Do NOT park in Sportsmans Seafood parking lot. Street parking is best. Look for the Teal-Blue Paddle Wheel on our boat here at Hyatt Mission Bay Sportscenter.
There’s an emergency porta potty on board but we wanna encourage everyone to go BEFORE arriving to the boat.
Can we drink on board?
You may, but you have to follow the rules. No glass (even if the glass only stays in the ice chest). All alcohol is BYOB. Alcoholic beverages must remain on board at all times. Bring your own ice chest and ice. You are also free to bring food on board.
Passengers under the age of 21 will receive an “X” on each hand and cannot drink while on board. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present and a liability waiver must be signed by their guardian. There is no minimum age to ride the Paddle Pub.
Can we get out and swim during the tour?
Yes, you can – there is a ladder on the Paddle Pub. Don’t forget to bring towels!
Isn’t it hard to pedal?
Water tends to be very flat, so its not bad at all. In fact, the light exercise helps make the experience. Plus, we have an auxiliary motor. We have had groups of all 70+ seniors pedal just fine. If they can do it, you can do it!!!
What if it rains?
Paddle Pub operates rain or shine! If it’s going to rain, we recommend bringing rain jackets and/or ponchos. It’s still a lot of fun- think of it as an adventure. We only cancel tours if there are unsafe conditions, in which case you will receive a credit or refund.
How many coolers fit on board?
We can fit approximately 3 full-sized coolers on board.
Can more than 26 people fit on the Paddle Pub?
No. The 26 seats include the non-pedaling seat in the back bench.

How do I reschedule/cancel my tour?
Paddle Pub and Trolley Pub now offer trip insurance, which will allow you flexibility in the case your plans change, or if the tour needs to be canceled due to the inclement weather.
Trip insurance will also allow you to receive a full refund in the event of a Severe Weather Warning from the National Weather Service during the time of your scheduled tour results in a cancellation on our end. You may also voluntarily cancel your tour for any reason up to 7 days prior to your tour for a full refund.
To purchase trip insurance, simply select the add on “Trip Insurance” during checkout. Please note that for mixer tours, you will need to select the number of tickets you would like to insure to cover all the tickets.
