AREA HIGHLIGHTS:
Starting at our commercial boarding location directly across from the well known Burton Chace Park, you will leave our dock with the park on the right side of the Paddle Pub giving you an opportunity to view this beautiful waterfront park located in Marina del Rey Harbor.

Burton Chance Park

The park features a large grassy area, perfect for picnics or lounging in the sun, as well as a playground for children. There is also a large pier that extends out into the marina, offering great views of the boats and the ocean. The park is also home to the Marina del Rey Visitor Information Kiosk where you can get brochures and information about the area. It has a walking path, ample seating and picnic tables, and plenty of room for kids to play. It’s also a popular spot for fishing, birdwatching and enjoying the sunset.

Sea Lion Sighting

At the end of this basin and as you turn left into the main channel of the Marina Del Rey Harbor you will notice a large gathering of Sea Lions lounging on the large dock at the LMU Boathouse. Sea Lions, Seals, Pelicans, and countless sea birds abound, creating a memorable experience to last forever.

The Breakwall

Once in the main channel you will be heading towards the Pacific Ocean and the outside breakwall of the Harbor. With the Nantucket style Fisherman’s Village on your left, and endless docks full of beautiful vessels as far as the eye can see, you will be in the heart of the Marina del Rey Harbor, as seen on Television and in Feature films.

The Beach & Airport

At the end of the main channel you will see Venice Beach to your right, LAX to your left, countless Paddleboarders, Kayakers and a large variety of various size vessels entering and exiting the Harbor.

Yacht Clubs and Beautiful Hotels!

Coming back down the main channel you will pass the UCLA Boathouse before heading to the far north end of the Harbor. On your way you will go past the beautiful MDR Hotel on the Peninsula, see the well known Yacht Clubs within the Harbor, cruise past the Ritz Carlton and the storied Marina City Club with all its history.
