Where do we board the Paddle Pub?
All tours begin and end at the Harbourgate Marina Club by Vacasa, 2111 Little River Neck Rd North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. Our marina offers FREE PARKING, just park by the office.
Can we drink on board?
You may! All alcohol is BYOB, but you are welcome to purchase beer, wine, cider, and seltzers from the marina’s onsite beer shop. At this beer shop you can expect a modest selection at gas station prices. No consumption is allowed in the parking area or any public area to and from the boarding. Bring your own small ice chest or ice. You may also bring snacks on board, and please be mindful to make them of the less messy kinds. Be prepared to remove everything you bring onboard at the end of your tour. There will be trash receptacles onboard for your convenience.
Can we get out and swim during the tour?
Unfortunately No, we do not offer a swim tour at this location.
Isn’t it hard to pedal?
On the Paddle Pub there is a center storage area where we will have coolers with ice provided for you. There is additional room on the vessel for coolers to be stored elsewhere.
What if it rains?
Paddle Pub operates rain or shine! If it’s going to rain, we recommend bringing rain jackets and/or ponchos. It’s still a lot of fun- think of it as an adventure. We only cancel tours if there are unsafe conditions, in which case you will receive a credit or refund.
How many coolers fit on board?
On the Paddle Pub there is a center storage area where we will have coolers with ice provided for you. There is additional room on the vessel for up to 3 full size coolers to be stored elsewhere.
Can more than 26 people fit on the Paddle Pub?
No. The twenty six seats include the non-pedaling seat in the back bench.
Are people under the age of 21 allowed on board?
Yes, but they will receive an “X” on each hand and cannot drink while on board. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present and a liability waiver must be signed by their guardian. There is no minimum age to ride the Paddle Pub.
Is there a weight limit for riders?
Yes. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the vessels, customers over 300 pounds will not be able to comfortably ride the Paddle Pub.
How do I reschedule/cancel my tour?
Paddle Pub now offers trip assurance, which will allow you to cancel your upcoming tour for any reason up to 24 hours before the tour for a full refund. Trip assurance will also allow you to receive a full refund in the event of a Severe Weather Warning from the National Weather Service during the time of your scheduled tour.
To purchase trip assurance, simply select the add-on “Assurance” during checkout. Please note that for mixer tours, you will need to select the number of tickets you would like to insure to cover all the tickets.
Without trip assurance, there are no refunds given for any reason. However you may receive a credit to reschedule your tour for a future date in the event of a cancellation due to a Severe Weather Warning from the National Weather Service. Further, you may reschedule your future tour under some circumstances if you give us a call at least a week before your scheduled tour.
