Everything you need to know before you board in Coeur d'Alene.
What is the Paddle Pub?
Paddle Pub is the ultimate floating party for you and your friends. The Paddle Pub is a 26-passenger pedal-powered party machine and comes with a USCG-certified master captain at the helm. We have an onboard motor, but if pedaling is your jam then be sure to bring a minimum of five passengers. So come & join us on the beautiful blue waters and soak up the spectacular views 🌅. You can’t miss our paddle wheel!
How do I book a cruise?
Our most updated availability can be seen by clicking Book Now. Online booking closes 24hrs before tour time but feel free to give us a call or shoot us a text with same-day requests.
Where do I get on the Booze Cruise?
All information will be given in your confirmation email. Look for the boat with the paddle wheel! All tours are by reservation only.
When should my group arrive?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your reservation at our dock to allow time for check-in procedures, any outstanding paperwork, and the orientation. Your rental period will begin promptly at your scheduled start time and you will return by the scheduled end time.
Please allow extra time to park. The street parking near the dock is public parking that we do not control, so a space is never guaranteed and can be very difficult to find. Give yourself a head start on the 30 minutes if you can — there is paid parking at the hotel when the street is full.
How many passengers can we bring?
The maximum number of passengers per trip is always 26. If you have a smaller party, book a public tour for individual tickets. There is no minimum for private tours.
How long is the cruise?
Our standard cruises are 1 hour 45 minutes. Our Sunset Cruise runs 2 hours. Please call to inquire about additional time.
What if we want to stay out longer?
If the schedule, captain, & weather permitting. You can discuss further extending your trip while underway. We can charge the card on file used to make the original reservation.

Bring your own ice and cooler, and feel free to bring food as well! All passengers under the age of 21 will receive an “X” on each hand indicating that they cannot drink onboard. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present and a liability waiver must be signed by their guardian. There is no minimum age to ride the Paddle Pub.
Do we have to pedal?
We have a motor onboard so no pedaling is required! Though pedaling does make it more fun!

No, there is no weight limit. However, due to the nature of the cycling stations on the vessel, passengers over 300 pounds will not be permitted on the pedaling stations. All passengers are welcome to enjoy the various lounge areas onboard.
Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
Think comfortable! We’re sure you look great in that sports blazer or high heels, but this isn’t the trip for those. Bathing suits, beach wear, tank tops, you name it. That’s more our style.
Can I play my own music? Are there speakers?
The sound system is Bluetooth so bring your favorite playlists.
Who drives the Paddle Pub?
We always have a USCG licensed captain on board to show you a fun & safe time out on the waterway
Can I smoke on board?
Smoking cigarettes is against our policy, but anything electronic is allowed on private tours. If it requires a lighter, it’s a no-go.
What if it rains?
Paddle Pub operates rain or shine. If it’s going to rain, we recommend bringing rain jackets and/or ponchos. It’s still a lot of fun – think of it as an adventure. We only cancel tours if there are unsafe conditions. If we cancel due to a Severe Weather Warning issued by the National Weather Service, you’ll receive a credit to reschedule for a future date.
What happens if a guest is intoxicated or disorderly?
Our captain has the final say on safety. We reserve the right to refuse boarding to any guest who is intoxicated or disorderly, and to end a tour early if behavior on board becomes unsafe or disruptive to other guests or the crew.
In either case no refund or credit is given, so please pace yourselves and drink responsibly — it keeps the trip fun for everyone on board.
4 Paddle Pub Pro Tips
-
Get to the dock about fifteen minutes before your cruise — boarding a full boat takes a few minutes, and it keeps your time on the water for the water.
-
Have everyone sign their waiver before you set off, so your group walks straight on instead of filling forms in at the dock.
-
Bring a layer you can throw on. It runs cooler out on the water than it does on shore, and breezier once the sun starts dropping.
-
Wear flat, non-slip shoes for boarding, and don't skip the sunscreen — out there the sun comes off the water as well as down from the sky.
